Overview
🌅 Early morning: A strong start (8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
* Arrive early: It is best to be at the ticket office at 8:00 a.m. to avoid the heat and large crowds of tourists.
* Pyramid of Khufu (the largest): Start by contemplating the grandeur of the largest pyramid. If you don’t mind confined spaces, you can buy an additional ticket to go inside.
* Take a “panorama” photo: Drive or take a horse-drawn carriage to the “panorama” area, the highest point on the plateau, where you can see all three pyramids in a row (the best place for selfies).
🐪 Midday: Adventure experience (10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
* Camel or horse riding: From the Panorama area, you can enjoy a short camel ride in the heart of the desert to take classic photos.
* Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure: Pass by the smaller pyramids and discover the remains of the surrounding funerary temples.
🦁 Afternoon: Guardian of the Plateau (12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
* Sphinx: Descend to the Valley Temple and stand in front of the Sphinx.
* Take creative photos: This is the perfect time for funny photos (such as “kissing” the Sphinx).
